Mr Jimmy Phoon is the Chairman and Non-Executive Director of SeaTown Holdings Pte. Ltd.. He is also the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Seviora Holdings, and CEO of Seviora Capital.
He was formerly the CEO of SeaTown Holdings International from 2010 to 2020.
Before SeaTown, Jimmy was the Senior Managing Director, Head of Strategy at Temasek Holdings.
Prior to joining Temasek in 1999, Jimmy was with Standard Chartered Merchant Bank Asia Limited (“SCMBA”). In his eight years with SCMBA, he managed several initial public offerings, public takeovers, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate restructurings.
From 1988 to 1992, Jimmy was a Deputy Director in the Ministry of Finance of Singapore, where he was responsible for the formulation of corporate and international tax policies.
Jimmy is a director of the Health Sciences Authority, and a member of Board of Trustees of Nanyang Technological University.
Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honors) degree from Monash University, Australia.
Mr David Heng is a Non-Executive Director of SeaTown Holdings Pte. Ltd. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Singapore global asset management company, Temasek Trust Asset Management, which invests in positive outcomes for economies, societies, and the environment, through its divisions, ABC Impact and Temasek Trust Capital.
David’s career spans over 25 years in the finance industry, leading investments across multiple themes, geographies, and asset classes. He spent 14 years at global investment company Temasek, where he served in senior leadership roles including Joint Head of Consumer, Head of Real Estate Investment, Joint Head of China, and Head of Japan & Korea. Before Temasek, David held positions at Deutsche Bank AG and Standard Chartered.
He is a Board Director of NSYE-listed SEA Limited (NYSE:SE), Seatown Holdings, and Temasek Trust Asset Management. He also sits on the investment committee of decarbonisation investment platform GenZero. David is a member of the Steering Committee of the Sustainable Finance Development Network. Other boards that David serves on include the Centre for Impact Investing and Practices and the Singapore Art Museum.
David holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Hull (United Kingdom) and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Canterbury (New Zealand).
Mr Christopher Smith is a Non-Executive Director of SeaTown Holdings Pte. Ltd.
Christopher is the Head of Sales and Distribution at Seviora Capital Pte. Ltd.
He joined Seviora in 2022 from ADM Capital, a Hong Kong-based private credit manager. At ADM, he was a member of the Executive Committee and Global Head of Business Development.
He has extensive experience in asset management and a deep background in global emerging markets fixed income, gained while working both on the sell-side, as a fixed income and distressed debt trader, and on the buy-side, at a London-based multi-strategy EM hedge fund.
Christopher has lived and worked in Asia for much of the past 22 years.
He holds a Master of Arts from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA from Stanford University.
Mr Patrick Pang is the Executive Director of SeaTown Holdings Pte. Ltd.. He is also the Chief Executive Officer at SeaTown Holdings International Pte Ltd (‘SeaTown’).
Before 2021, Patrick was the Chief Operating Officer at SeaTown. Prior to joining SeaTown, Patrick was a Senior Vice President in the Business Development division at Fullerton Fund Management Co Ltd (“Fullerton”). He was also previously a Portfolio Manager with Fullerton. Before joining Fullerton in 2004, Patrick was a team leader at Temasek Holding’s direct investment division. Before moving to the buy-side, Patrick was an equity analyst with Lehman Brothers and Jardine Fleming.

Chi Kit is the Chief Investment Officer at SeaTown.
Prior to joining SeaTown, he was the Head of Capital Markets & Chief Investment Officer at Ping An Asset Management (Hong Kong). He was also previously a Senior Managing Director and Head of Internal Public Markets at Teacher Retirement System of Texas in the US.
He earned a Master of Arts in Economics from University of Texas – Austin and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. He also graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Chi Kit is also a CFA charterholder.
Tony is the Chief Operating Officer at SeaTown. From 2021 to 2023, Tony was also the General Counsel of SeaTown. Before 2021, Tony was the General Counsel and Managing Director of Legal & Compliance.
Prior to joining SeaTown, Tony was the General Counsel – Asia Pacific at D.B. Zwirn & Co., a large US-based hedge fund. From 1997 to 2004, Tony was a corporate associate at the firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York and Hong Kong.
Tony earned a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University Stern School of Business.
Eddie is the Deputy CIO and Head of Private Investments at SeaTown. He is responsible for both private credit and private equity investments. Prior to joining SeaTown, Eddie was a Senior Vice President (Head of Private Equity Investments) at Wah Hin & Co. He was also previously a Director (Investments) at DKR Oasis, a multi-strategy hedge fund. Before joining DKR Oasis, Eddie was a Director at Temasek Holding’s direct investment division. Before moving to the buy-side, Eddie was a corporate banker with DBS Bank. He has more than 20 years of experience in Asian financial industry.
Eddie, a CFA charterholder, graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a degree in Business (Upper Class Honours). He also holds a Masters of Science (Applied Finance) from National University of Singapore.
Wei Hsien is a Managing Director at SeaTown. He is responsible for investments in private credit. He has close to 3 decades of investment experience with UBS, Merrill Lynch, Henderson Global Investors, Morgan Stanley and IFC.
Wei Hsien, a CFA charterholder, holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Wharton School and an MBA from INSEAD.
Wee Yap is a Managing Director at SeaTown. He is responsible for investments in private credit. He has more than 20 years of extensive experience in the Asian financial industry.
Prior to joining SeaTown, Wee Yap was CEO of Fullerton Investment Management Pte Ltd. He was previously Head of Mezzanine Capital of UOB Bank, focusing on Asia Pacific private debt opportunities, as well as the Chairman of Investment Committee of United Orient Capital Fund. Before that, Wee Yap was with JP Morgan covering pre-IPO financing and other form of private financing. Wee Yap was leading DBS Private Equity unit covering Greater China and South-East Asia, managing both private equity and private debt strategies, before joining JP Morgan. From 1994-2003, Wee Yap worked in the corporate lending team at DBS.

Dickson is a Managing Director at SeaTown and is responsible for investments in private equity.
Dickson spent 14 years at Temasek where he held various roles including Director of Investments in the transport and logistics sector team as well as the Southeast Asia market team. During his time at Temasek, Dickson led many private equity and public equity investments as well as privatization, restructuring and divestments. In 2017, he was seconded to SMRT Corporation Ltd as Head of Strategy, Enterprise Risk and Investments. Before joining Temasek, Dickson was a consultant in Marakon Associates and an engineering consultant based in London.
Dickson holds a Masters of Engineering in Aerospace from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London.
Kenneth is a Director at SeaTown, focusing on private credit investments.
Prior to joining SeaTown, Kenneth spent 4 years at TAEL Partners, a Southeast Asian-focused fund, where he was primarily involved in private credit transactions.
Kenneth, a CFA charterholder, graduated from National University of Singapore with a degree in Engineering (Upper Class Honours).
Chao is a Director at SeaTown, focusing on private credit investments. He has 16 years of working experience in the financial industry in Asia. Prior to joining SeaTown, Chao spent over 10 years in private credit industry with Fullerton Investment Management and Mezzanine Capital of UOB Bank in Singapore and Hong Kong. Before that, Chao worked in Fixed Income at Credit Suisse in Hong Kong.
Chao, a CFA charterholder, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Oxford University, UK.
Jian Hong is a Director at SeaTown, focusing on private equity investments.
Jian Hong leads private equity investments in the consumer, technology, business services and distribution space. Prior to joining SeaTown, he spent 12 years in Temasek focusing on both public and complex private investments in the industrials sector (aerospace, electrical equipment) and natural resources. He also spent a year in Temasek’s Sao Paulo office covering investments in Brazil and was the staff officer to the Chief Investment Officer.
Jian Hong holds a Bachelor of Business Management (First Class Honours) from the Singapore Management University and served as an intelligence officer in the Singapore Guards formation during National Service. In his personal capacity, he is an angel investor in companies ranging from loyalty and employee engagement software platforms to IT hardware brands and data analytics companies.
Nathan is a Director at SeaTown, focusing on private equity investments.
Prior to joining SeaTown, Nathan spent 10 years at Temasek with experience in public and private equity investments. He held various roles in the Southeast Asia market team, transport and logistics sector team as well as staff officer to senior management.
Nathan, a Chartered Accountant of Singapore, holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class Honors) from Nanyang Technological University.
Geraldine is a Director at SeaTown. She is responsible for Portfolio Management in public equity.
Geraldine joined SeaTown in 2014 as a research analyst and has experience analyzing the global basic materials and consumer sectors. Prior to joining SeaTown, Geraldine spent 4 years as an APAC research analyst in a family office, HDH Capital, and 4 years as an ASEAN generalist in investment banking at Lehman Brothers.
Geraldine graduated from the Singapore Management University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in Economics, and a Bachelor of Business Management, magna cum laude, in Finance.
Manav is a Director at SeaTown. He is responsible for Portfolio Management in public equity.
Manav joined SeaTown in 2010 as a research analyst and has worked on a variety of sectors and geographies. He has deep experience investing across the capital structure. Prior to joining SeaTown, Manav was an investment banker at Deutsche Bank and Citigroup in Singapore, focusing on Asian markets.
Manav is an alumnus of St. Xavier’s College in India, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Economics and Accountancy. He furthered his education with a double degree in Information Technology from the Manipal Academy in India. Manav holds an MBA from T.A.Pai Management Institute in India and has successfully completed an Executive MBA program at the Columbia Business School in New York.
Kaixiang is a Director at SeaTown. He is responsible for Portfolio Management in public equity.
Prior to joining SeaTown, Kaixiang spent 15 years at The Capital Group where he was based in Los Angeles, New York, Beijing and Hong Kong. He was responsible for the Asian & European automotive sectors managing US$1.5b. Kaixiang’s coverage also included EV supply chain, China materials, Asian tech, ride hailing, logistics and data centres.
Kaixiang graduated from Singapore Management University, with a Bachelor’s degree (Summa Cum Laude). He graduated with the SMU Salutatorian Award and Citibank’s Top Finance Award.
Rocky is a Director at SeaTown. He leads SeaTown’s public equity fundamental research team.
Rocky joined SeaTown in 2016 and was responsible for investment research in ASEAN across asset classes, before expanding into India and selected sectors globally. Prior to joining SeaTown, Rocky was an analyst at Cheyne Capital covering ASEAN markets. He began his career in sell-side, covering financials at BNP Paribas and subsequently RHB OSK.
Rocky holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Monash University.
Kenneth is the Head of ESG Management at SeaTown. He oversees SeaTown’s ESG strategy across both investments and corporate functions. He works closely with the investment teams on ESG integration and thematic research.
Kenneth is also concurrently the Head of ESG at Seviora Holdings w.e.f 1 November 2024.
Kenneth joined SeaTown in 2014. From 2014-2021, Kenneth led the investment research effort for SeaTown’s consumer, internet and packaging sub-sectors. Kenneth has multi-asset investment experience, having led investments across public, private, equity and credit asset classes. Prior to SeaTown, Kenneth was an analyst at Goldman Sachs where he covered ASEAN banks.
Kenneth holds a double degree from Singapore Management University (Finance and Economics) where he graduated as Valedictorian, Summa Cum Laude. He also holds a Certificate in Sustainable Finance from the University of Cambridge and the Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.
Kayla is the Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, Business Development at SeaTown. She is responsible for all aspects of investor engagement and management, as well as external strategic communications, branding, marketing and events.
Prior to her current role, Kayla was part of the Risk and Performance Analytics team at SeaTown. She was responsible for portfolio performance monitoring and analysis and developed the (public markets) portfolio managers’ performance evaluation framework and metrics. She also launched Tableau analytics to support data-backed performance analyses. Before joining SeaTown in 2013, she was a team leader at Cambridge Associates, where she led a team of performance analysts covering institutional client portfolios across Singapore, Sydney and London. Before this, Kayla was a trade management analyst at Goldman Sachs Futures covering markets in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Japan. From 2007 to 2012, Kayla also co-founded a women’s online fashion business, designing clothing and managing the branding and marketing, daily operations and distribution of the products.
Kayla graduated with Bachelor of Science, Accountancy from Singapore Management University.
Annie is a Director of Sales and Distribution, Business Development at SeaTown.
Prior to joining SeaTown, Annie was a VP and Head of Investor Relations at First Plus Asset Management. Before that, she was on PGIM’s Institutional Relations team and prior to that, she was a key contributor to the development and growth of ANDA Asset Management. She also worked in the global corporate banking group at SMBC, Deutsche Bank and NH Investment and Securities in New York.
She received a B.S. in Economics and Business from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Sin Yee is a Director of Sales and Distribution, Business Development at SeaTown.
Prior to joining SeaTown, Sin Yee was a Client Advisor at UBS, within the Global Family Office and Institutional Wealth sector. She joined UBS since 2013 and prior to becoming a Client Advisor, she has gained expertise in alternative investments advisory, product management, and compliance advisory with a focus on suitability regulations.
Sin Yee earned a B.A. (Honors) in Business Economics and Finance from the University of Nottingham. She is also a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
Athena is the General Counsel at SeaTown.
Athena began her legal career as an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, followed by Ropes & Gray in New York. She was subsequently Assistant General Counsel – Asia Pacific at D.B. Zwirn & Co., a large US-based hedge fund. Prior to joining SeaTown in 2021, she was a senior attorney in the investment management group at Akin Gump.
Athena earned her Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College.
Jessica is the Managing Director of Finance at SeaTown. She is responsible for all finance and accounting functions.
Prior to joining SeaTown, Jessica was an Associate Director in the Finance department at Temasek Holdings. Before joining Temasek in 2007, Jessica was a Finance & HR Manager in a local firm that specialised in repair technology, logistics and networks (reverse logistic industry). Prior to that, Jessica was an Accountant in SembCorp Gas Pte. Ltd. and MediaCorp Press Ltd.
Jessica has a Chartered Certified Accountant qualification from ACCA.
Kok Keong is the Managing Director of Risk & Performance Analytics at SeaTown.
Prior to joining SeaTown, Kok Keong was Chief Operating Officer/Head of Risk Management at Tokio Marine Asset Management International Pte Ltd in charge of overseeing operations and risk management. Before joining Tokio Marine Asset Management, Kok Keong was Head of Risk at Fullerton Fund Management.
Kok Keong has a Masters of Financial Engineering from National University of Singapore and graduated from the National University of Singapore with a honours degree in Electrical Engineering.
Wan Theng is the Managing Director of Operations at SeaTown. She is responsible for all settlement related functions – ranging from trade processing, settlement to corporate actions, collateral management and securities reconciliations.
Wan Theng began her operations career as an officer at Hitachi Leasing, a financial services institution. She subsequently joined and spent the next 8 years with Singapore Technologies Group in various operations and settlements roles. Prior to joining SeaTown in 2010, Wan Theng was the Operations Director at LaCrosse Global Fund Services.
Wan Theng graduated from National University of Singapore with a bachelor’s degree, with majors in Economics and Psychology.
